Siswa SDN 2 Kebonharjo Raih Emas Popda
Prestasi membang gagakan diraih oleh atlet dari SD Negeri 2 Kebonharjo Kecamatan Patebon. Setelah sebelumnya keluar sebagai juara umum tiga kali bertutur-turut diajang Popda tingkat Kecamatan Patebon, kini siswanya menorehkan tinta emas diajang Popda tingkat kabupaten.
Tiga siswa meraih empat medali masing–masing 2 emas, 1 perak dan 1 perunggu. Emas diraih melalui cabang bulutangkis atas nama Ulinuha Faris Nasrulloh dan cabang Renang lewat Risma Tiara Indie di kelas 50 bebas. Sedangkan perak kelas 50 M kupu-kupu.juga diraih atlet yang sama, begitu juga perunggu dari cabang bulutangkis.
Kepala SD 2 Kebonharjo Siti Raodhotun SPd mengungkapkan, raihan prestasi tersebut merupakan kerja keras seluruh guru, terutama guru olah raga yang selalu memberi bimbingan dalam mempersiapkan lomba.
“Tanpa uji coba atau bertanding dengan pihak luar kita tidak akan mengetahu sejauh mana keberhasilan atau kemampuan prestasi anak,” kata Siti Raudhotun. (13)
